Use Reis Nordland to plan ferries, boats and buses to Flostad or via Dønna. Flights to Sandnessjøen require a separately planned onward connection.

Book directly with the hosts and confirm check-in, meals and any transport you need.

Try a weekend by the sea, a family day or slow island hopping.
Opening times and seasons
Glød Sauna lists Monday–Sunday, 10:00–22:00. Herøy Caravan is closed for the 2026 season and states a reopening date of 1 June 2027. Checked with the providers on 2 November 2026; confirm before travelling.
Pack for the coast
Bring windproof and waterproof layers, good shoes and a warm extra layer. Respect wildlife and private land, take litter home and adapt each outing to the conditions.
